Asian Legend owner Michael Wang grew up in the restaurant business. We lived upstairs because in Taiwan the home and the restaurant were always one piece. So, in , the Wangs opened a small take-out place on the second floor at Dundas Street West called Wey Shiang Tsuen, but this was hard for Canadians to pronounce. The Decor is fantastic. Tables and chairs are well-constructed, and the lighting sets a charming mood. The food is well-prepared and fresh.

We were introduced to this nice asian restaurant by my parents which demonstrates a level of authenticity in the cuisine. The restaurant is nice and accommadates families and groups of varies sizes by private dining rooms. I was especially impressed with the efficient servuce focus Was here for Halloween dinner! General Tao chicken, spicy tofu, beans with dried shrimp, spicy friend port cutlet were great tasty, pork dumplings with chive were the hi lite. We had 8 and ordered ala carte instead of the set menu - a variety of steamed and pan fried dumplings, deep fried toufu, soup, cold and peanut butter noodle, vegetables with crab meat, and a specialty stewed pork belly. The last is high cholesterol
