Pago Liquid Fruit
The fruit used by Pago needs a lot of sunlight. Although many locally grown fruits are used to make fruit juice, not everything is used to make Pago.
The longer the fruit is allowed to ripen, the sweeter the taste will be. Because Pago harvests only ripe fruits, they are more sensitive to handling and so are preprocessed directly in the growing area.
Fruits need a lot of sun before they're ripe enough for processing. The apricots, tomatoes and peaches used by Pago grow in Italy, Spain, Greece and Turkey - because these fruits grow at their best only under the Mediterranean sun. The oranges come from Brazil, Florida, and California, while exotic fruits such as passion fruits, pineapples and papayas are supplied by South America.
All fruits are preprocessed immediately where they are grown and only then transported to Pago. As natural produce, the fruits used for Pago's specialities are dependent on climatic considerations such as sunlight, rainfall, etc. So, to ensure Pago products are of consistently high quality, the fruits used are purchased where external conditions have provided an optimal harvest.
